I’m sure everyone has seen the Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt fight that was created with Seedance 2.0. It’s impressive for many reasons. But very curious what this sub thinks about what it means for the future of truth verification. Growing up it was pics or it didn’t happen. Then it was video. Yeah this ship sailed a while ago honestly, the “pics or it didn’t happen” era is basically dead. What worries me more than the fakes themselves is how it’ll erode trust in real footage too, people will start dismissing genuine video as AI generated just to avoid dealing with uncomfortable truths. Been messing around with some of these tools like klifgen.app/create-seedance-2-5 (pay as you go which is nice, no subscription trap) and the quality is genuinely scary good even for a hobbyist tinkering around.
