TLDR: I have a big project how to manage context? creating skills? split the MD files? or something else? Hey everyone I’m an staff engineer and Its a few months im using Claude Code on small/mid size projects and I’m comfortable using it and delivering high quality codes. Now I’m mostly only reviewing generated codes and adjust/improve it here and there. Now I think its time to use ClaudeCode in large/legacy projects. My first step is creating some docs for Claude to understand the project. I created an initial CLAUDE.md file including the technical details of the project(how to test, high level architecture, technologies used, etc.) I didnt include any of the business logic or any details about our domains(this project is domain driven) where each PRD is and etc. My question is how you guys handle big projects? are you creating multiple MD files and add their references to CLAUDE.md? or you are creating skills for each domain? I dont think that skills are a good idea here but im looking for smarter ways of shrinking the project context. submitted by /u/Triple_M99
