I got told by the Militärarzt on the phone that there’s a 12 month waiting period after SMILE/LASIK before starting military service. But when I google it, I cant find any guidance like at all. Has anyone here actually gone through Swiss military service after refractive surgery recently? My prescription before surgery was around -3.25 in both eyes. Just trying to figure out whether the waiting period is really 12 months nowadays or if it depends on the prescription / type of surgery. I am getting the Smile Pro surgery so there is not even a risk of the flap opening during the military. And I really dont want to postpone the RS. submitted by /u/Relevant-Dance1837
