When the Serp helm came out… What did everyone wear? I admittedly wasn’t playing at the time, but I imagine it was Serp Helm, Bandos, Dragon boots (or prims), and it was a sick combo because it was colorful and best in slot and you could show off your mutagens if you received them, but it wasn’t an “armor set” Maybe this is a super hot take, but with the upcoming rewards for R4 being so heavily discussed right now, I think its time to step back a little from this “armorsetscape” and realize that if there were 3 new BIS helmets from this raid, one for Range/Melee/Mage and they powercrept Masori(f)/Torva/Ancestral even by a little bit. Would that be the worst thing in the world? There doesn’t have to be a “Hybrid armor set” or a “crush armor set” or a “stab armer set”, what if there was just 3 badass new helms that were BIS in their categories. Maybe fallen helmets of other gods that were found on statues within the archive (or something similar for lore purposes). Just imagine a fallen Armadyl helmet that just blows Masori out of the water in looks and is truly a new BIS upgrade? submitted by /u/-Hyzxr-
