Is it normal that in male friend groups the guys openly talk badly about one of the guy’s girlfriend? My friend group is 4 guys including myself. One of us got a girlfriend some time ago and since then, the two other guys have said that the girl is ugly. I feel like this comes out of jealousness. When I match with a girl on dating apps, they usually say it’s ugly too. I don’t think this is right and I definitely think there’s some jealousness involved but I wanted to ask how common are these types of dynamics in male friend groups?
