A little about me, 42, 6’3” overweight at 225lbs. Not much muscle, low T, low libido. So after thinking about doing it for ever I finally bit the bullet and put myself on a rigorous workout routine. 6 days a week. 2 days heavy weight upper, 2 days heavy lower, 1 heavy cardio, 1 light cardio and one day de-load. Also do light cardio before all lifting days as warm up. I started taking protein intake seriously (200+g p/d, counting macros and also am at a calorie defect on most days. Added 10g of creatine, I take a multivitamins, folate, and vitamins d+k2. My question is if I keep this kind of workout routine, when would you expect to see improvements in body shape? I don’t want to get in TRT and in fact starting this is my first step I trying to get my T levels in a normal range. (However if it doesn’t help after a few months I’m going to explore adding it, just would rather do it naturally if possible) I think I currently have an endomorphic body type, and just want to look good and feel good about my body again. Does anybody have any advice here? I’m doing research as much as I can but it’s good to hear from people who’ve been there and done that. submitted by /u/Background_Analysis
