22m, I’ve struggled with sleep for most of my life but I only recently really became of how messed up it is. I have sleep apnea, which I’m on cpap for, but I also have insomnia. I frequently wake up at 4am every night and it’s absolutely driving me insane. My sleep doc just wants to throw pills at me which I really don’t want to do. I’ve tried magnesium and I have great sleep hygiene. I just feel a bit lost, and I find myself annoyed at people who sleep easily with no issues. It’s as if I’m angry and directing it at people who have nothing to do with it. If you’ve had a similar issue how did you stop waking up during the night? submitted by /u/PackageReasonable922
