Is it worth buying a motorcycle in Zurich, or should I get a car, for commuting/fun? Early shift start, no public transport. I’ve heard filtering is illegal in Switzerland and have seen many motorcycle/scooter riders just riding their bikes “like a car”, waiting patiently in a queue. Parking situation for car vs bike? If I can’t filter, like I used to do in London (had a torquey 750 twin)… there is no fun and is not any quicker compared to a car. I have a few thousands worth of motorcycle gear, I just don’t have a bike. I’m open to hear the pros and cons for each. submitted by /u/ion1024
