“I’ve noticed over the last few years specifically that there’s an overwhelmingly large amount of Germans (so Germans from Germany ) in places like Ascona and Locarno, holidaying there. I almost wonder if they own secondary homes here. And if so, what’s the history and story behind that? Because you wouldn’t assume / expect Germans to come holiday here, because it’s too expensive for them (something I hear often) They’d rather go to Mallorca or whatever.
