I am not really sure how to put this fully into context, i play mobile on an iPhone 11 for clarity. 1: the search bar/box for the item display for that tag is absurd. I do not have every slayer helmet in the game, the search functionality for items such as in the GE has always been wonky. Currently it shows all items, even cosmetics, even ones you do not own, in a fairly jumbled mess. Scrolling is weird, it works and sometimes it doesn’t, commonly in the bank interface when you move items around but also now in this search box.
- i wanted a simple slayer helmet (i) item displayed, spent over 10 minutes trying to get to scroll to the proper slayer helmet and i was shown 4 of the exact same slayer helmet. 2: After you add items to the interface, its just not pleasant in my personal opinion to interact with the tag. You have to long press/click to remove duplicates. Overall its just a slow process when i already have 9 tabs that are organized, i wont be using any tags at all because it just seems like a super strange design for what seems like it could have been done better. I have no formal solutions to any of this. Preferably i could just search for the items within my bank only and not display every item in the game possible or an example would be if i search “slayer helmet” it will specifically show me the first slayer helmet unlock and then cosmetics. Ideally i think it would be better to provide a search functionality for adding items into the tag, as currently you do a drag and drop and that inherently is not reliable for mobile users as we all have different devices acting weird in their own ways. I have tested the bank tags on both my 2022 ipad and an iphone 11, its just not appealing in any capacity and i feel like it would take far too long to setup when my tabs are already organized. Tags just feel like a worse version of tabs. Not sure how to flair this, i believe jagex intended for us to have access to all items as the tag display but it seems to be too much in my opinion in its current design. submitted by /u/RQ-170
