So I work a pretty tight block, roughly 6–10 AM, and I’d usually hit my session limit within two hours. Which meant I either work on something else or use extra usage for the next two hours. I recently found a workaround. The 5-hour window starts from your first message, so I had a Claude routine quietly fire off at 3 in the morning while I was still asleep, just to start the session early. That way the reset landed in the middle of my work block instead of after it, and I’d basically get a second fresh window before 10. Felt like I was getting away with something. But after today’s update routines have stopped using session limit, and hence doesn’t start the 5-hour session. My beautiful little hack works no more. has anyone figured out another simple way to kick the session off early? Ideally it shouldn’t require me to wake up or keep my laptop on all night.
