Talking seriously -> I think its time for me (but also for many software engineers) to just accept the reality. And the reality is that our dream job is now something in which we cannot rely on anymore for a stable future. Yes, maybe you’ll work as contract here, a bit there, but being a pawn moving between agencies is something that I (me personally) don’t want to do. I am 35 and I think it’s time to start moving other pawns instead be controlled by market, indians, agencies, recruiters, rav and so on. So, since you are using reddit, you know what is going on and (I assume) your being-brilliant is above the median, I think its time to be all together. In this country nobody wants to be together (like having Unions or things like that) but a way to group people exsists -> money, money and money. So I am here to ask to you (if you lost your job or not) if you want to join me in the Discord group I created. 1 - We discuss about market opportunity 2 - We analyze together a particular project/product in which WE (all together) can invest 3 - We create the detailed program all together 4 - We invest. It’s time to stop playing the wrong game: the employee. I think it’s time to start being in the other side of the table, where we are the one who selects the candidate, who puts the money and get the concrete profit from it.
