When parking spaces have a time limit (such as Blue Zones or metered spots with a maximum duration), the law states that you cannot simply reset the parking disc or feed the meter again. You must leave the parking space and “re-integrate into traffic” before you can park there again. The question arises: how is this defined? Furthermore, how is this verified by the police? Is it legally sufficient to drive around the block or run a short errand and then return to the same spot? (couldn’t find a sufficient answer online) submitted by /u/Redditedito
