Pretty much the title. I’ve tried using it in a few plans, but it is just kinda insane how many tokens it burns trhough. I could see it being nice for someone with unlimited usage, but for the common folk with a normal pro licence it doesnt seem to make a lot of sense. The biggest (and somewhat convincing) argument I’ve heard is that it reduces the context-window use and might allow for better review. The thing is, though, couldn’t you already ask an agent to break a plan into smaller self-contained steps and run each sequentailly in a new conversation? Then have another one review and fix. Doing that seems to waste a LOT less tokens. Is there something I’m missing here? Just genuinely curious. submitted by /u/terectec
