I have a question about the current naturalisation process in the City/Canton of Zurich. My partner is an EU national and has lived in Switzerland for over 10 years. She recently applied for ordinary naturalisation, passed the citizenship test with 100%, was not invited to an interview, and has now received confirmation that her application was approved. I am a British national and have lived in Switzerland for almost 11 years; already a c-permit holder. I am considering applying for naturalisation myself. For those who have gone through the process recently in Zurich, should I expect a personal interview as part of the process? Or, if the application is straightforward and the test result is strong, is it increasingly common to be approved without an interview? I’m particularly interested in experiences from the last 1–2 years, especially from non-EU applicants. Thanks! submitted by /u/everydayjedidad
