I’ve been keeping a running list of the config files AI agents read and write, and tagging each by how widely it’s actually adopted: AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, llms.txt, SKILL.md, MCP config, the rules and ignore files, A2A agent cards, and more. what am i missing? especially: - a convention some tool reads by name that isn’t well known - something you use internally that feels like it’s becoming a pattern - the proposed ones nobody actually reads yet started collecting them all in one place so they’re easier to compare: https://github.com/ItamarZand88/awesome-agent-conventions . happy to add anything real with a source. submitted by /u/zanditamar
