Before I can even start working i use about 10-30% of my quote (pro plan) just for Claude Code to read or understand my codebase. I have graphify and caveman installed. I make Claude Code write handoffs after each taskso I can continue when my quota resets from where i stopped + I also use the memory. But Claude still keeps looking through the codebase and uses too much tokens/quota for that. While setting up Graphify Claude Code told me i had approximatle 1.8 million words and ~500 files. Is this considered a huge codebase or is it moderate? What’s the reason for the immense amount of token usage? submitted by /u/DanyrWithCheese
