I often see people discussing certain content of the game like its totally out of reach for them, they just “arent good enough” to do that content. For some people, for various reasons, certain content may be out of reach, if you only have a couple hours a week to play, completing inferno might take you years of dedicating that time, which likely wont be worth it. If you have some type of disability that affects your motor skills, reaction times, or learning abilities, no hate or judgement to you enjoy what you can this message isnt for you. That aside, stop saying you arent good enough for certain content. If you think you cant beat inferno no matter how hard you try, then youre right, but only because you believe that. You can learn prayer flicking, you can learn and gain muscle memory on the tick system. As crazy as you might think this sounds, anyone can beat inferno (above exemptions excluded). If you just flat out don’t want to do certain content thats totally fine, but dont say youre not good enough. You are, and you could, if you spent the necessary time and effort. I think we as humans often fall into the mental trap of concluding our failure before we start and thus relegating ourselves as lesser. So if you’ve been struggling to progress some content this week, if you’ve been afraid to get started because you feel like maybe you just arent good enough and it’ll be a complete waste of time then I want you to take a step back, reassess the problem set, develope a strategy and then go execute. No effort is wasted. A final aside, im no God at osrs but ive done a lot because I sank the time into it. A couple weekends ago I spent 12 hours over 2 days doing solo yama trying to learn melee p3 and probably 10 hours of that was just getting to phase 3 before immediately dying to the first sets of attack. And for the first 4 hours it felt impossible and like I would never get it. But i cant tell you how good it feels now doing p3 effortlessly. “The only way to learn is by playing.
