For the last couple of weeks Claude has been abysmally slow for me, wasn’t sure what was happening so out of curiosity I enabled fast mode at double the usage/cost. Low and behold, its operating at normal speeds again. These guys have effectively converted normal speeds into fast mode as an excuse to give you half the product moving forward. Genuinely a massive and noticeable nerf in speed, not sure if I’m the only one who noticed this? update: found out fast mode uses your credits, this has to be a joke 😅 update 2: I got claude to investigate itself (lol), its showing higher rates of 503s/errors for the last few days which is kinda conflicting since status page shows green. I’m beginning to lose trust in what they even report on that status page anymore is accurate or valid. submitted by /u/Careful_Put_1924
