When I’m with my girlfriend, I gave up after the first few months and just let her pick the music. However, if she falls asleep while I’m driving, it’s fair game and the playlist becomes mine. My girlfriend is originally from Mexico and doesn’t understand English, so I have to put up with all the Mariachi and Banda music she loves. It’s a small price to pay for peace in the car. But strangely enough the only thing we really agree on is 80s rock. Apparently 80s rock was big in Mexico especially around the border areas. submitted by /u/FFSoldier57
