Salvaging is meta because it’s the highest profit and lowest intensity method. This is stupid. It means everyone “Sailing” is just sitting still humping some dead merchant’s boat corpse while the honest, hard working Jason Stathams of the world are being paid minimum wage without any bonus hazard pay for damage from sea creatures. Courier tasks just feel pointless. Let Courier tasks be a moneymaker, Jagex. Instead of rewarding gp, reward useful items like herbs or alchables based on what you transport and maybe add a couple flavor rewards that are on the collection log similar to the mouldy doll.
