Hi, 24F female here. I actually never asked for anything on the internet because i never wanted to sound pity at all. I know this post might sound be cringe or funny to some, but i live in under the rooftops in a old building in Lausanne and i am a broke student dying in her appartement and i can’t afford air climatisation/conditioning here. Even the second hands shop price offer are still too high for me. I take heavy medications that makes me not support the heat and sickly sweat and makes the heat agonizing and unbearable. I know a lot of us suffer from the heatweave and that i am far from the only one, if i could i would help anyone who need it i would, i think genuiely no one deserve to suffer from heat. But i am in a state of no solution and i wonder if i maybe could ask for that. If ANYONE or a kind soul in switzerland have another ac at home they don’t use or would help me find one for free i would cry of happiness genuiely🙏🏻 PLEASE, i ask you to dont give me advice or alternative because i have literally tried ALL. I know between some people who may try to make the post funny or laughable there’s still good out there🫶🏻 Thank you so much in advance for anyhelp (Also by anything, since i am a woman a need to precise that there’s nothing weird intended by that) Love you all and please take care of your health, hope everyone is safe🙏🏻 Also if you suffer with any heat, specially with medication i want to tell you you are not alone and don’t be scared or ashamed to ask for some help. If you are an older person suffering alone from the heat and no one to help you can dm me and i’ll try to help you with daily task if you need it Only people who lives in the healthcare know how serious heatweave can be when you are fragile and that there’s nothing to laugh about Edit : to answer i already have a fan of course at home and take all the time cold showers (i use ice and put it in front of it but the heat weave from the old rooftop is a lil to much) i stay in mall and library most of the time (actually i am writing this post from onw) but staying outside can be very exhausting when you take medication with side effects. It may be better the next days but but it will come back and i am genuiely stressed submitted by /u/neurotransmitter_009
