Context: As the title suggests, growing up, my father wasn’t really tolerant of me and didn’t teach me whatever a dad might teach his son. My mother was more or less complacent. I’m only 18 and I can’t afford a place of my own, even with roommates, so I still live with my family, but due to the conditions at home, I tend to spend most of my time outside. Usually, school covers a chunk of my time, but now I’m on break and I’ve found myself in a state where things at home have gotten worse and I can’t crash one of my friend’s couch. So, as a young, feminine looking guy (cant grow thick facial hair yet and my features are really soft fml) in a place where it’s often dangerous out, what are important things I should have in my bag aside from the usual: some cash, keys, water, etc? I’d like to mention, I also only use public transport as I can’t afford a car yet so I needn’t have small tools and stuff on me. submitted by /u/ilostmyorignal
