Claude Code frequently suggests ending work sessions with phrases like “call it here for today,” “this was good work for the session,” or “we’ll pick up after you wake up” even when I haven’t indicated I’m stopping work or mentioned sleep or time of day. This is disheartening when I’m mid-session or have hours of work remaining. It breaks my flow and feels like I’m being encouraged to quit when I’m actually being productive. I’m requesting a setting to disable these session-ending suggestions. I’d like Claude Code to focus on the work without making assumptions about when I should stop. I’ve asked Claude to stop doing this during conversations, and it agrees but eventually resumes the behavior. A persistent setting would solve this issue. submitted by /u/AlexBeerMe
