We know that women talk to each other a lot about men. And we know that women will use other women’s input to judge a man. If a man is married, then that means that another woman has vouched for him. If that woman speaks very highly of her husband, then that man becomes extremely valuable in the eyes of all of the women around. If a man is a widow, then that is the pinnacle of being a unicorn for a man. But, let’s just take a normal generic divorce. Just a dissolution. You just go your separate ways. Let’s say that you always found one of the girls in your extended group of friends to be kinda cute, and wouldn’t mind exploring a relationship with her. But, she heard, and she knows, that you are getting divorced from your wife, who also happens to be her friend. You have no idea what your newly-ex-wife has told any of the women in your orbit about the divorce. How do you navigate that? Is it even possible to navigate that? Or, do you just plain have to start over with a whole new group of people? submitted by /u/ClevelandSpigot
