I’ve been experimenting with a few AI avatar tools lately and I’m honestly surprised by how much better they’ve gotten. The lip sync is tighter, the voice tone doesn’t feel as robotic, and some of them even handle subtle facial expressions pretty well now. That said, I still can’t decide whether I’d use one for serious content. For faceless creators it obviously lowers the barrier, but I wonder how audiences really feel about it. If you knew someone was using an AI avatar instead of being on camera, would that change how you view their content? Curious where everyone stands because this tech feels like it’s at a turning point. submitted by /u/l0stviral
