I was diagnosed with leukemia a few months ago. Since then it’s been a lot of time in and out of the hospital, many medical appointments, and lots of medication. It has been a lot, and through it all I have worked hard to get myself to and from the doctor, pharmacy, and anything else when I could. I’ve managed my medication, appointment schedule, and even helped as much as I can around the house when I have the energy. Today I was told that my experience is in no way harder than when my wife is going through. I can’t help but disagree a little. After all I am the one with the cancer.
