For what I believe is the first time in Anthropic’s history, we got a major model release with no usage reset . (Hopefully that’ll change once Fable is re-released.) Then there’s Sonnet 5. After weeks of hype, it appears to be closer to Sonnet 4.6 than Opus 4.8 and consume more tokens for the same tasks (this is from Anthropic’s official documentation). And Fable? It turns out it’ll use Opus 4.8 for “” some"" coding/debugging tasks, and we’ll only get access to 50% of our weekly quota .
