Swisscom say they are going to install fibre to our building in September. I live in quite a large apartment block from the 80s. I assume that Swisscom run the fibre up to the building, their website says they install a fibre socket in your apartment for free. But what happens with the building phone lines that run through the building to each apartment? Do Swisscom replace those too? If they remain copper, then they will block the high speed. Does the building have to organise to have these put in? I’m confused as to how it works. Thanks for any info. submitted by /u/SparklingDolphin56
