Hi, everyone I’m currently in the recruit training (RS) in the Swiss military. However, I’m becoming increasingly unsure whether the military is really the right fit for me, so I’m considering switching to civilian service (Zivildienst) if I don’t feel comfortable over there over the next few weeks. I’ve already signed up for the Introduction day (Einführungstag), and I know that after that I will have to accept the change to the civil service within 48 hours or so. My questions: What exactly will I have to do after I accepted that change? And how does the disarmament (Abrüstung) look like?
