Hey guys, we are all hearing about the exponential growth of AI models along with CEO’s claims that most of us won’t be needed anymore and how our work knowledge and frankly our existence would be useless (especially for software developers) and they keep putting deadlines to it, in six months, in the next year and so on. And I am not an AI hater or anything but I feel like the conversation and the ideas instead of being optimistic and existing about how many of us will get to learn new stuff or get a chance to work on new things and build useful stuff the ideas is rather very paralyzing I feel like these ceos are telling us hey you are useless stop learning stop working we already did the work the technology is ours and you just gotta buy a subscription, why the training of new models in all countries that are more costumed to each culture or country needs be encouraged why instead of encouraging us to join to build this technology and to use for our best is encouraged instead of saying in an informal way stop thinking stop doing we will do it for you but you gotta pay us submitted by /u/Living_Estimate_9935
