I’m seeing a lot of comments from men saying compliments are rare and it’s bumming me out. Guys who fondly remember being complimented once years ago seem to really appreciate comments on their physical appearance, i.e. calling them handsome. How could I compliment a male stranger’s appearance without sounding like I’m flirting? Note (because Reddit): I just want to make someone’s day better, nothing more.
