The ending of BMR cements them as THE most broken human. Or at least one of the most broken. Drakan is bordering on demigod status. Despite being weakened, he still had the upper hand, and gets dropped anyway. He even starts to, perhaps begrudgingly, respect the player character. This is made clearer Just before the final encounter where he splooshes some last minute glaze. Even showing small shades of doubt he can be victorious. I also appreciate that when the circumstances call for it, when shit is dire, the other characters put serious respect on the players name and abilities. Your allies all have healthy levels of awareness in regards to just how fucked everyone was without their help. There is very little room for doubt left at this point. It’s a nice break from being the silly bumbling dumbass (which I also deeply, DEEPLY enjoy, don’t get me wrong) in some of the more low-stakes quests. submitted by /u/kazuya482
