I’m sure a lot of us are using Fable 5. Some love it, some don’t, but we can all agree it’s extremely powerful. Right now I’m stuck on a decision, and I’m guessing some of you are too. Should I get extra accounts and pay $200 just for this week so I can finish up and use Fable 5 on the projects I’m currently working on? Because realistically what I am working on won’t come around for another four, five, or even six months. Or should we just wait? With how fast AI is moving, could there be a better ChatGPT alternative or just an alternative in general? Possibly at a similar price to the $200 deal we’re getting Opus or Sonnet or ChatGPT max subscriptions? Basically, is there any chance that before the year ends we get Fable 5-level (or higher) intelligence that works and codes similarly on a subscription model? Something that would pretty much let us use it the way we currently use Opus or Sonnet in Claude Code. Could there be a possibility that all of us would have that power and be able to have it running all day every day for months without paying over $1,000 a month? submitted by /u/nunghatai
