Just ask Claude Code the following: In my ~/.claude/settings.json, make the “Notification” hook with matcher “idle_prompt” run: paplay /usr/share/sounds/freedesktop/stereo/alarm-clock-elapsed.oga — same as the PermissionRequest hook.
