This will likely be an odd question. But I’m 40 and have never had a GF before. I’m attracted to women. I never catch any signal from women to go on so I’m not taking a chance and pending some lady. Even if I was willing though, the truth is that I just so infrequently see women I find arousing. My HS had 5000 students and maybe 10 of the girls I thought about in that way. But that’s pretty much it. My college had a student population of 30k and really I only had 2 crushes the entire time. Didn’t even think of sex or anything during the time since I was busy with school. Last 18yrs with work has also not really resulted in much. There was one younger lady I liked but frankly that’s about it and then she moved to another country. I tried to date via apps but stopped in 2018. I did get a few dates with nice ladies. One even invited me back to her place but I had the choice of going to her place ot getting home to watch TV. So I chose TV. New episode of a tv show I was watching that night. After I stopped in 2018 I really haven’t even thought about it. Sometimes on the streets of NY I’ll see an attractive woman but I can go months between them and usually it’s just briefly on the street or train station. How can I find somebody when the occasions are so few are far between? Not only do I have to be attracted to her which happens with maybe 4 women a year out of hundreds of thousands I see. But she then has to be open to me which is probably far less likely than even the first case. So how? submitted by /u/pickledplumber
