I’m pretty new to Claude Code and the constant permission prompts are killing me. I’m tempted to just give it broad permissions and let it work, but I’m not totally sure what the real risks are. For people who use it a lot, what do you generally allow? What do you still make it ask about? Also, is there a good middle ground where it can mostly work uninterrupted but still stops before doing anything genuinely risky? Basically, what am I actually worried about here? Deleting files? Running bad shell commands? Touching stuff outside the project? Leaking keys? Can’t I just specifically tell it to not do those things and give permission for everything else? I see people posting on here about leaving and working overnight and I can’t even leave it working for more than five minutes without interruptions.
