Let me start by stating the obvious. I’m at a severe disadvantage compared to +90% of the player base since I decide to play strictly on mobile. No runelite plugins. No hot keys. No hardwired connection. Just raw dogging the content. With that out of the way, it’s incredible seeing all the complains about the boss fight which look to always stem from skill issues. I see posts about the boss having to be nerfed. About clicks not registering correctly. Weird pathing. Etc. From the unsolicited mobile players experience, the only complaint that I saw exists is the click box is shit on Drakan. I managed to click through him way more times than I liked but I adjusted by making damn sure I clicked the center of him. Not by running to reddit to complain. Besides that, the boss fight felt great. So many people are complaining that’s it’s too hard and should be nerfed. So let’s address it. Is the boss hard? Let’s instead ask, is it a grandmaster quest? Hats off to Jagex for finally designing a grandmaster boss that feels exactly like that. It’s weird seeing people wanting the developers to cater to their skill level even though this an endgame quest. If you can’t kill drakan, the solution shouldn’t be adjust the boss accordingly. The obvious answer is become a better PvMer. Sorry to put it crude but this comes from a guy that had zero pvming experience and forced himself to grind the SRA axe. To get a solid pvming foundation. That cascaded into a colosseum completion and now 4k+ kills on doom. If you’re purely a skiller and get frustrated because this boss is too hard, then you need to adjust your skillset. Why would a company lower their qualifications for an executive position because people complain it’s too steep? It’s steep to filter out the best candidates for the position. This completion is locked behind this incredible boss fight for those that are willing to learn and adapt to the fast paced encounter. Took me 5 attempts and every attempt I tried very hard to really dial in 1 mechanic and constantly worked on my reaction time submitted by /u/FiberSplice
