Context: I’d like to learn how to PK (0 experience) I am below average at the game both in experience and skill level, PVP seems fun, my friend says hey go try LMS. Here’s my experience after 100 games with only 2 wins: Everybody just freezes and hides under you. I’m sure many of you can tank this or predict their hits, but as a newcomer to PVP I can’t even grasp what’s happening to me. If you switch to veng, everybody camps mage and ten tiles you, which I can’t hit back with my crossbow even on long range? Those kind enough to not hide under you all game, will just hide behind objects so you can’t attack them. Everybody is toxic. Literally everybody! It’s just full of “you’re so bad” “sit” “get good” and versions a lot more unpleasant. Like brother, I know I’m bad, I’m trying to learn. Be kind! The odd chance you’re winning, so many people freeze under you then log, or freeze and get gap and run away until somebody else kills them. Like is your ego that delicate? Why can’t I get mithril seeds on a Veng loadout to give me a chance? Half the lobby are PVP machines or literal AI machines. I know it’s essentially a BR, the skill level of the lobby is just whoever’s in, but everybody seems to be so insane. I get it, I’m new, but is there nobody else also new in here?! I tried Emir’s arena too, everybody just leaves the fight as they want imbue scrolls, lol. Switched to BH after my 100 games, to find the overheads and freezing I attempted to learn didn’t even matter… Honestly though, the amount of toxic people just verbally slinging their insults is enough to make me never go back. PVPers, the skill ceiling is simply too high to get into. I tried, I’d love to engage with this part of the game but there isn’t a nice introduction to it. EDIT: I know I’m average at best at the game and therefore most players will be better than me. That’s fine, I accept it.
