Hello, I’ve noted some reoccuring patterns in how AI companies communicated. It’s similar to political PR. This my short take away: Company A says society is on the brink of destruction: Company A is probably a AI security company and needs to sell something or pushes for legislation that in turn guarantees funding. Company B says that there will be no more jobs in a few years: Probably needs VC funding. Company C says that their AI does things and they don’t know how or why it does it: they’re signaling how cutting edge their tech is. Company D pushes a doomsday szenario: All of the above.
