hi everyone, first i want to start off by saying i don’t mean everyone, this has just been my experience with SOME people. i recently moved to switzerland, nearing 9 months to be exact, and ever since i’ve moved there, there’s always been at least one encounter where someone has been egotistical. now while i understand the swiss can have higher standards for things like privacy or quality etc, everytime i encounter these types of people, it’s like they cannot take any criticism at ALL. i once spoke with a “train enthusiast” and i said that i didn’t like how some trains are built (e.g. no plugs or wifi) compared to austrian or german trains, and they just started getting angry and explaining how SBB is so much better, yada yada yada now to spare you a very long text, i won’t give other examples, but has someone had the same experience? please don’t take this the wrong way, fellow swiss friends, i really do like country and living here, but it just made me wonder if some people share the same thoughts thank you all :) submitted by /u/derhausaufgabe
