Getting married in a few weeks, changing my last name. The registry office gave me a document confirming my future name and intent to marry, with which I can already order a new passport with my new name. Sent the online form for a new passport yesterday night, got the confirmation today, have my passport appointment in an hour! They’ll send the passport directly to the registry office where we‘ll have the civil ceremony and I‘ll get my new passport at the ceremony. Swiss efficiency at it’s finest! submitted by /u/N3XT191
