I’ve noticed that a lot of recent OSRS content has leaned into dark and infernal themes—demons, Zamorakian lore, Yama, the Doom boss, and now The Blood Moon Rises . It got me wondering: why don’t we have a true celestial counterpart? I’m not talking about biblical angels or real-world religion, but original RuneScape-style divine or celestial content. Things like holy guardians, blessed armour, celestial realms, divine bosses, or quests that expand that side of Gielinor’s lore. I know Saradomin exists, but his content doesn’t really capture that same “celestial” fantasy that the darker themes do. Has Jagex ever mentioned whether they’re interested in exploring this, or is there a lore reason they’ve mostly avoided it? I’d love to see a bit more balance between the dark and divine sides of RuneScape’s fantasy. What do you think? submitted by /u/YoungBidnesss
