honestly I don’t understand why one single players opinion just completely got this item removed from the game (not reworked or rebalanced just straight removed) the amount of time it takes to harvest from allotment patches is diabolical and thats with doing the double harvest trick I can’t seem to figure out why a tool that literally just saves you time is somehow harmful to the game (we are literally talking about a TIME BASED SKILL is somehow having power creep, and on top of this allotment patches already take a set amount of time to grow to begin with) why you guys ever listened to a horrible opinion like this that comes from a guy whose job it is to play the game and has all the free time in the world to play the game like that to begin with is beyond me the points gnomemonkey made are completely invalid to begin with he’s making claims that somehow quickly harvesting herb and allotment patch’s somehow invalidates tree runs just makes no sense when i know for a fact i would still be doing tree runs to this day with my demonic spade to for one get bonus xp from farming and 2 farming magic roots to make anitdote++ (maybe im looking at this in terms of being an ironman but from my POV i just want to be able to collect my snape grass weed while im doing my herb runs without the entire process taking 25 minutes) tree runs dont just become obsolete because allotments can be farmed faster and easier and if were being totally honest about the whole thing if you truly feel like its even a big deal getting the xp quicker from allotments is a big deal just lower the xp you gain from allotments while harvesting with the special shovel to like 25% of what you should gain i also just want to point out this would inflate the price of allotment type seeds as more people would be willing to farm them while they do their herb runs as seeds dont just have an infinite source and need to be earned as a drop TLDR - you guys should seriously repoll the demonic digger and see for yourselves that listening to the single opinion of one player (when they are wrong to begin with) is just a huge waste of time and unhealthy for the game and possibly consider getting it from a new source in the game i.e. a new quest or a possible tithe farm reward (thematically fits because one of the tithe farm owners is a zamorak follower) as just readding it yama after so many people already grinded yama out would just feel like a big f u submitted by /u/dayton3000
