But I’m just throwing a massive long shot out into the void here, hoping the power of the RS community can help me track down an old childhood friend. Back in 2003–2005ish, during the transition to RuneScape 2, I was about 13 or 14 years old. I had a great friend on my friends list whose account name was MrHairyFoot . His real name was Kyle , and he was older than me at the time. While I was a total casual back then, Kyle was a beast at the game. He did incredibly well and managed to get several 99 stats, which felt like an impossible myth to me at that age. Even though he was way higher level, he kept me on his friends list and was one of the first true online friends I ever made. I am 36 now, and over the last two decades, I’ve randomly looked up his name to see how he was doing. Sadly, his name vanished from the HiScores entirely (likely due to the inactive name cleanups Jagex did years ago). So… If your name is Kyle, you used to go by MrHairyFoot around 2003/2004, and you remember mentoring or hanging out with a younger player back then, please reach out to me. My username back then was “XpurepkwolfX” (I was a kid, give me a break on the name 😂😭) I would love to catch up and see where life took you.
