Hi everyone, I’m 24, Portuguese, and currently living in Switzerland. My German level is around A2, but I speak fluent English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I’m interested in studying IT, ideally in English, but I’m not sure what realistic options exist in Switzerland for someone in my situation. I don’t currently have a university degree, and I’m trying to understand whether it’s possible to do a bachelor’s degree or another recognized program in IT while improving my German. Has anyone here, immigrants or locals, started an IT degree or IT-related studies in Switzerland with limited German? Are there English-taught or online options that are actually recognized and useful for finding work here? I’d also be interested in hearing from anyone who changed careers into IT in Switzerland.
