As in: posted by actual people and not AI, bots or engagement farms made with sincere intentions to have a discussion and not to be rage/engagement bait or an ad in disguise actually real and not just made up I’m wondering this after wandering into the cesspool that is modern Facebook for a bit. So much of both the content and comments there just seem like pure, blatant ragebait that would make me want to drink bleach if I believed any of it was real. Then there’s stuff like the recent Odyssey nontroversy about its trailer getting a record number of dislikes, which could not reek more of an astroturfed bot campaign. I’m a big believer in the Dead Internet Theory, and stuff like this is exactly why. My personal answer to the title question is probably at around 20%. Just wondering what others think. submitted by /u/Identity_ranger
