Enterprise customers are reeling from token bills and wondering where’s the ROI. To be sure — AI will deliver, eventually, but probably after going through the Gartner trough of disillusionment. But meanwhile, the VCs who oversold this, and scared companies that they would fall behind if they didn’t pony up, are cashing in.
