I feel like this quest was leading me to expect Ivandis Seergaze here.

  • Spent the first part of the quest with Ivan, talking about his lineage and then reading about the Seven Priestly warriors
  • Then we get a big reveal that Ivandis was turned, and that he used his ‘last moments’ to make a run for Vampyrium to get a go at Lowerniel
  • We also learned that Ivandis practiced Haemalchemy in order to ‘bless’ the salve. Literally when I first saw Effitary, and she said she had allies my first thought was: ‘Ivandis is alive, and has been living in Vampyrium in secret building an army. He’s been studying Haemalchemy as a way to survive without killing, because he’s a priest. This all makes so much sense.’ Then I get lead down a long hallway leading to a single vampyre and I’m thinking: ‘This is Ivandis, 100%, that’s sick. He is going to meet Ivan, help us kill Drakan, then he’s going come back to Mory and bring peace to humans and vampyres, as someone who now understands the suffering of the people as well as the hunger of the vampyres’ Then he says… “I am Sagubababooi Vitur” Wait what? Who the hell is that? Was I the only one blind sided by this? Is there some serious Vitur lore that I just missed while doing this questline all those years ago? Like I guess he is Verziks dad or whatever but like, ok? Anyway, this guy gives me the creeps, and I don’t trust him. Plus I’m mad that my boy Ivan basically got turned into a walking deposit box once we convinced Veliaf to come back. (I haven’t played rs3 btw, maybe this guy is important there or something) submitted by /u/Haemogoblin_
