Hi there, I, 25F, am a young teacher in highschool (teaching seniors). Just got done with my first full year teaching and it’s been quite challenging at times to establish authority over my male students. I feel like they don’t really respect me, and as a 25 yo you can imagine I get a lot of staring from the boys along with awkward comments at times. I get it teacher fantasy and all that but it’s actually kinda making me feel objectified. So my question is, do you have any tips on how I to deal with teenage boys so I can do better next year ? I want to establish my authority and have them see me as a serious teacher. What woumd have worked on you when you were that age ? Thanks 😊 submitted by /u/Maleficent-Heart4264
